DPS HOSPITAL SCHOOL
Description
The Durham Public Schools operates a school program serving pediatric patients at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. The school serves children pre-k through grade 12 who are receiving in-patient and out-patient medical treatment. The Hospital School is a collaboration between Durham Public Schools, Duke University Health Systems and the students' permanent school. Educational services are available throughout various hospital locations including the Ronald McDonald House, and in student's temporary Durham residence.

The mission of the Hospital School is to assist student's academic progress during medical treatment.
